Check that your view will still be there next year! You can find out if any planning applications have been made in the area by visiting the local Mairie (Town Hall). Your notaire can also help with this. Most of our properties in the South of France are protected by strict planning regulations and this should not normally be of concern. However it is worth checking if you are looking at areas with new property developments taking place.
Renting your Home in the South of France

Think about the practicalities of travelling to and living in the South of France. How far is the airport or train station?
